At Flow, the majority of our team is made up of incredible women who bring leadership, creativity, and collaboration to everything we do - including many of our senior leadership roles.
This International Women's Day, we're celebrating them and reflecting on this year's theme, Give to Gain, by highlighting some of the women who help shape Flow every day.
Corrie Higgins, Vice President of Sales
What's a piece of advice you'd give another woman starting in your field?
One piece of advice I’d give to women starting in this field is to intentionally support and advocate for other women.
The most impactful careers aren’t built alone. When women share knowledge, open doors for one another, and celebrate each other’s success, we strengthen not just individuals but the entire industry. Creating a culture where women lift each other up benefits everyone.
Ilana Smith, Logistics Manager
What does this years theme "Give to Gain" mean to you?
To me, 'Give to Gain' means that when we invest in the next generation, we all move forward; coaching my daughter’s hockey team is my way of giving back, yet I gain so much more in the connections I make, seeing new perspectives, and absorbing the pure energy that comes from watching them grow.
Patricia Saucier, HR Generalist
What’s a piece of advice you’d give another woman starting in your field?
Lead with integrity, stay true to your values, and never underestimate the power of your voice. HR is about people, culture, and trust, so share your perspective because your insight and empathy can make a real difference.
Jessica Kim, Senior Vice President of Finance and IT
Who’s a woman in your life that inspires you, and why?
My mom is my quiet anchor. She models resilience without ever having given it a fancy name. She moved to a new country as a young woman, faced challenges head‑on, and built a beautiful life. Professionally, I’m inspired by women who do the same — the ones who lift others up, make space, and share what they know without hesitation.
What’s something you’ve learned from another woman on the Flow team or in another company you've worked for?
I’ve learned the importance of being authentic. Showing up as yourself, leading with honesty and being willing to show vulnerability, builds trust.
What’s a piece of advice you’d give another woman starting in your field?
I'd tell her to trust her voice. Ask questions, speak up, don't shrink yourself to fit in, and take your space. Your perspective is valuable.
Jenny Fifer, Customer Sales Operations Specialist
What’s something you’ve learned from another woman on the Flow team or at another company you’ve worked for?
Do your job well, but always make your physical and mental health a priority. When you take care of yourself first, you’re able to show up better in every area of life.
Kelsey Trott, National Sales Director
What helps you stay balanced or grounded during a busy work week?
That taking care of yourself doesn't have to be complicated, and that the quality of what you put into your body really matters. This mindset has guided how I approach everything from meals to hydration to self-care routines.
Joanna Zdrojewska, Director of Supply Chain Management
What's a piece of advice you'd give another woman starting in your field?
Supply chain is an ever-evolving field. When starting out, it’s important to build strong operational knowledge and find someone who can mentor you. Get comfortable with the technical side. Excel, ERPs, and data tools. Developing these skills will help you stand out quickly.
Don’t be afraid to speak up in meeting. Your ideas matter. Sharing insights based on data and asking questions when you’re unsure will help you build confidence over time.
It’s also important to build cross-functional relationships. Understanding the roles of finance, marketing, sales, and other teams will help you solve problems more effectively.
Finally, supply chain is rarely predictable, so learning to be comfortable with ambiguity is key.
If you stay curious, keep learning, and build strong relationships across the business, supply chain can be an incredibly rewarding career.
