This summer, take some advice from Ralph Waldo Emerson:
"Live in the sunshine. Swim in the Sea. Drink the wild air,” because spending time outdoors is *super* amazing for your wellness.
Whether you prefer an adventurous weekend camping, or a tranquil day at the beach, make some plans with Mother Nature. Sunlight leads to the creation and activation of vitamin D, which can help fight certain health conditions from cancer to depression (but don't forget the sunscreen, gorgeous). Plus, once you get outside, you're more likely to put your body in motion, leading to all the amazing benefits of exercise (better physical health, improved mood, less anxiety—you know the drill).
What you might not know, is that spending time outdoors can also improve your short term memory, ability to focus, and creative performance. That means, taking some time out of your hectic life to drink in nature can actually help you in your day-to-day life. So, turn on your "Out of Office" memo, pack up some Flow, and enjoy the surroundings, because your mind, body, and soul deserve it.
